Hedge-U-Cation camp promotes off grid camping and so facilities are basic. There will be no electrical hook-ups or places to refreeze cool packs, so please bear this in mind when packing your food! The Hedge-u-cation café provides food at very reasonable prices, and there are shops about 15 minutes drive down the road, where you can replenish your stores.

There are compost loos as well as portaloos, with a wheelchair accessible portaloo also provided.

There are no showers on site.

Hedge-u-cation Family Camp is a “Leave No Trace” camp; this means that each person attending needs to take responsibility for their own rubbish. We will be providing bags for people to collect their rubbish in and transport it away from the festival. Make sure you keep the area around your camp tidy and the grass free of any rubbish as livestock is kept on the field during the year and so the grass must be kept clear! Any re-usable recyclables can be used at the camp for the purpose of art and crafts.

There are fire points around the site, please make a note of where they are in relation to your camp when you set up.

First Aid is located at the information tent at the main gate and there are water points available here too.
