*Tickets for the Hedge-u-cation Family Camp have completely SOLD OUT!!

If you haven’t already bought or reserved your ticket, we’re sorry, but we’re completely full.
Check out our Hedge-u-cation August Weekender if you’d still like to catch up for a bit of Hedge-u-cation this summer…*

Hedge-u-cation will hold our annual, week long family camp during the Spring 2017 half term break. This year, we’re having a change of venue, but we’ll still be in the lush Devon countryside, near Exbourne. We have secured a beautiful 25 acre field, with woods including some magnificent old oak trees, and a stunning river. We will release the exact location very soon!

We run a week of activities and workshops for all ages. At the end of the week there will be a Fire Ceremony, Friday Night Cabaret and Knees Up celebration with music, dance and performances that will be created through the weeks activities. There will be live entertainment, bands and DJs performing on the Friday and Saturday night, and a local ale and cider bar.

The dates for the Hedge-u-cation Family Camp 2017 are Monday May 29th to Sunday June 4th 2017.

The Hedge-u-cation August Weekender

We are introducing an additional event to our calendar this year, the Hedge-u-cation August Weekender! This will take place at Crab Apple Farm in Shropshire.

The Hedge-u-cation August Weekender will run from Friday August 18th to Sunday August 20th 2017.

Our ethos

All Hedge-u-cation events are run on a not-for-profit basis, and all ticket sales go back into the Hedge-u-cation camp. The Hedge-u-cation ethos is all about skill sharing and creating a space to learn new skills, which can be developed over the week. Confidence can be built, and self esteem raised, through being part of the camp. Where possible we use recycled materials and are powered using alternative energy sources.

The heart of Hedge-u-cation

We believe that being in nature and learning in the outdoor environment gives us opportunities to therapeutically and educationally improve our mental and physical well-being, build stronger communities, improve on existing skills and learn new skills.
