We believe that learning new skills together in an outdoor environment promotes resilience, strengthens communities and improves social, emotional, mental and physical well-being
Hedge-U-cation provides land, art and craft-based educational and therapeutic activities for children, young people and adults. We hold Forest School outdoor learning sessions, including bushcraft, wild food foraging and environmental education. We run a range of workshops sharing traditional crafts and skills such as woodworking, blacksmithing, coppicing and basket-making. We offer group sessions where we prepare meals together, combining edibles collected on our wild foraging walks, food grown in our gardens and allotments, and locally sourced produce.
We believe that learning new skills together in an outdoor environment promotes resilience, helps to improve social, emotional, mental and physical well-being and strengthens communities.
